The Glen Iris Valley Tennis Club will host two pro tour events towards the end of March. It is a great opportunity to see the starts of tomorrow and current world ranked players compete for world ranking points and prize money.

Currently the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club is hosting a combined men’s and women’s event with the finals being played this weekend on the world famous grass courts. The Glen Iris events will feature a women’s events (Sunday March 30th until Sunday April 6th) and a men’s events (Sunday April 6th until Sunday April 13th). Qualifying events start on the first Sunday with Main Draw starting on Tuesdays. The men’s final, on Sunday the 13th, will be played on the same day as the Tennis Victoria Premier League final. This is the strongest club versus club teams event in Australia.

Entry is free for both the Pro Tour and Premier League and matches will start from approx 10am each day. For all the Pro Tour information please click here.

What are the tournaments that make up the Australian Pro Tour?

ATP MEN’S CHALLENGERS

Challenger events are individual, single-week tournaments offering prize money from USD$50,000 for men (ATP World Tour) and USD$25,000 for women (ITF).

ITF MEN’S FUTURES EVENTS

Futures events are individual, single-week men’s tournaments with an ITF minimum requirement of conducting two consecutive events with prize money of USD$15,000 or three consecutive events with prize money of USD$10,000.

ITF WOMEN’S CIRCUIT EVENTS

An ITF Women’s $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000 is the first step towards a professional tennis career. Players receive appropriate round ranking points.
