As fast as term 1 came and went, it is now time for term 2 lessons.  We wish everyone in the Vida community well over the next 11 weeks and we welcome all new additions. If your child is part of the My Vida Journey certificate program we encourage them to keep checking their progressions and certificate level  by clicking here, or checking the posters at all our venues.  Additionally, we would like to thank everyone who attended the first Vida Club Challenge Day.  It was a great success and lots of fun for the kids.  The boys and girls from the Veneto Club in Bulleen were the eventual winners.  Congratulations!

Key Dates

Term 2 ends on the 28th of June (Sunday). We will be in touch with everyone towards the end of the term to remind you of this date.

Public Holiday 8th of June (there will be no tennis over the long weekend unless your coach will let you know otherwise)

Tournaments/Events around Vida

Over term 2 and during the next school holiday break, all Vida venues will be hosting a variety of events and tournaments.  We will be offering some Tennis Australia sanctioned tournaments, hot shots tournaments and leagues, junior competitions and holiday programs.  All these events can be found by clicking here .  If you have any questions about any of these events please contact us and we would be more than happy to help.

Restring Service

Restring services are available at most Vida venues.  If you have your own string it will only cost you $20.  We can can also supply you with the latest Volkl String with full synthetic gut costing $35 and synthetic gut mixed with cyclone and full cyclone costing $40.  If you are starting to break strings more frequently you can also buy a reel off us.  Ask your local coach for prices or click here for more information.  We have very fast turnover so you won’t have to wait very long at all to get your racquet back.

New Website

Throughout term 1 we have been working hard to develop a new website for everyone involved with Vida Tennis.  We are proud to say that the website will be up and going in the next 2 -3 weeks.  It will be much cleaner and easier to navigate than the old one and will have lots of exciting content for new and existing players and parents.   It will also have a club specific page where you can find news, events, blogs, calenders and  information specific to where you get coaching.  Stay tuned for more information.

Good luck in term 2.  We hope whether you are starting out at tennis or playing at a high level that you get the most out of your time at your Vida venue.
